Egis Road & Tunnel Operation Ireland (known as ‘Erto’) was established in Ireland in 2005 and is part of Egis. You can find out more about Egis in Ireland, and across the world here.
Egis is a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm. We design and operate roads, rail, bus, active transport systems, buildings and infrastructure. We are leaders in water, wastewater and energy management. We manage projects through their entire lifecycle, with a focus on sustainability, social impact, and innovation. In Ireland we operate and maintain over 470km of our motorways as well as the Dublin Tunnel, Jack Lynch Tunnel and Limerick Tunnel.
Our Services
ERTO manages all operational aspects of the Dublin Tunnel and the Jack Lynch Tunnel on behalf of the National Roads Authority.
ERTO also operates the Motorway Traffic Control Centre that incorporates Intelligent Traffic Management Systems for several motorways and provides 24-hour assistance to the Emergency Roadside Telephone network.
